This question already has an answer here:
I asked a question that requires advice on a linux or windows tool to use to fix a specific data backup scenario I have.
The question was instantly banned as “Requests for product, service, or learning material recommendations are off-topic because they attract low quality, opinionated and spam answers, and the answers become obsolete quickly”
Is this the case on stackoverflow and the other stack sites ? Seems a real shame if it is as many tools and materials are long term solutions. Sure some are not but don’t users see this in the date of the question/answers ?
